Review: Himalaya Herbals Neem Face Pack

Hello ladies :) My product review for this week is the Himalaya Herbals Neem Face Pack. I bought this last January when I broke out, because I read some good reviews about this face pack on Girltalk and I decided to give it a try. This is my very first face pack so I don't have anything to compare this with. I'm really into face masks now, and I'm enjoying Purederm's.
__________________________________________________________________

Where to buy: Any Watson's branch
Price: Between 190-199 php :)

About Himalaya Herbals: HH is a range of natural, effective and safe products that use rare herbs carefully selected from the foothills of the Himalayas. Combining the best of Ayurveda with years of scientific research, these products effectively restore your skin's natural health and vitality.

About the Neem Face Pack: Clears skin and prevents outbreak and recurrence of pimples. Rejuvenates and firms up the skin. Imparts a natural glow. Anti-bacterial purifying Neem Face Pack regulates excess oil secretion, cleans clogged pores and prevents recurrence of pimples, improves skin texture.

Directions: Apply evenly over cleansed face and neck, avoiding the area around eyes. Allow to dry for 10-15 minutes. Remove with wet sponge, and wash the skin with cool water. Use once or twice a week.

Review:

I use this once or twice a week, depending on the number of zits that I have :P While waiting for the face pack to dry, I instantly feel some stinging sensation on my face, sometimes it hurts because I tend to pile up more on the zits area. So be careful, and just spread a thin amount, and spread it evenly.

Here's my fez: LOL

I remove the face pack using an old face towel, because if you use your fingers, it will be so messy and you don't want your sink to look like you just washed your plant pots :P So while removing the product in my face, I massage my face gently using the towel, and by doing that, I feel like my face is super clean and very fresh. With regards to the natural glow, yes, it is so true, that after using this at night, my skin fells and looks glow-y! I really love this and it controils my oilies while I'm sleeping :) When I wake up in the morning, the zits are smaller :))

Tip: If you have cystic pimples, try the spot treatment overnight :)

Will I repurchase? Yes!

Polyvore: A Stress Buster!

Sometimes when I'm tired of watching makeup tutorials on YouTube, and playing games on Facebook, I play with style and update myself with latest fashion, beauty, and design stuff.

It started when an online friend of mine sent me a link to this site, and actually asked me to pick some dresses for her, and recommend some styles which suits her. I had fun doing that, and joined the site, since I always wanted to be a fashion stylist.

Here are some of my sets. Yes, I'm still a noob!

Nail Polish Selection Set

I posted this on my Tumblr and asked my followers to pick a nail color for me to wear. These are NOT the exact nail polishes that I own, I just used this for comparison :)

Review: CLINELLE Professional Care Travel Kit

Yes, finally a review! I bought the sampler/travel kit of Clinelle last February, and I am so sorry that this review is super late. So let's start!

CLINELLE PROFESSIONAL CARE
Price: 200php
Where to buy: Any Watson's branch

*comes in a clear, plastic travel pouch (not shown in the picture)

Clinelle says: Formulated with powerful antioxidants and efficacious botanical extracts to moisture, nurture and protect skin from daily environmental aggressions

Contents:

*20 mL

The Vain Teacher's Score: 2.5/5

Will I repurchase? No.

*20 mL

Clinelle says: Intense moisturizing effect, promote healthy, radiant skin, and protect skin against environmental aging

2. Moisture Glow - I really like their moisturizer, very lightweight, and no greasy feeling at all. I use this every morning, before i put on my liquid foundation, and I noticed that it helps with the blending of the foundation, and my foundation doesn't look cakey on me even though I put on the foundation right after the moisturizer. Although the moisturizing effect is superb, I stopped using this because I broke out last time, and I think that this is too much for my skin because of the chemical smell and the content. With regards to its "glow" effect, I didn't notice any "glow" effect on my skin when I used this, but if you are after the moisturizing effect, then this might suit you.

The Vain Teacher's Score: 4/5

Will I repurchase? Maybe, but I want to try other brands too.

3. Purifying Toner
30 mL

Clinelle says: Soothe sensitive-prone skin, purify blemished-prone skin, and promote skin regeneration

This is my favorite out of the three! It doesn't sting my skin like other toners do, and I feel that after cleansing my face, this did the job that made my face squeaky clean. I don't have any negative comments about this, and I really liked it!

The Vain Teacher's Score: 5/5

Will I repurchase? Yes! After I'm finished with my derma products, I will buy the full size of this.

That's it for my Clinelle review. If you have any questions, please email me at nixpineda@gmail.com :)

Thank you so much for reading! Have a nice day!

An Update :)

Hello :)) I'm back! Did you see that smiley there? Yes yes, I am very happy now :) Last blog post, I was sad, and frustrated. Okay here's an update.

So after my "sad blog entry" here on my beauty blog, I immediately went job hunting. My last resort was to apply in a call center company, because at that time schools don't hire teachers anymore, and I wanted to experience a whole new thing. Believe it or not, my first year of teaching was a blast, but the experience with the boss and other people are not so good. Okay, so enough of that rant, I am happy now! I'm not yet starting, and I already signed the contract, and will be reporting on July. So I still have plenty of time to do stuff and play around. Haha!

Thank you so much guys for the support and for all the sweet messages and comments :)) I feel really blessed right now. I have soo many products to review!! I am so excited!

I also uploaded a video on YouTube (this was filmed last May :P), and here it is:

For my skin update:

As you all know, I really had a bad breakout last time, so finally I went to a good derma, and prescribed me some products to try on, and my skin is peeling right now. I hope I won't breakout anymore, and I promised myself that I won't be buying skincare products that I don't actually need. I'll buy more makeup and clothes! LOL

So that's it, if you have a Tumblr, please follow me, and I'll follow you back!
